Hello KTOM Country! It’s sure has been a long time since I’ve written about me! I hope I’m still good at it. HERE GOES!

I’m Eric Bishop and I’ve been here at KTOM on and off since 1998. For those of you playing at home, I was 18 when I got hired here. (Do the math) I’ve done almost everything at KTOM here in the past 14 years, from just pushing buttons, to being in charge of producing commercials, working overnights, filling in for the morning show, being live out on location, and introducing some of your favorite country artists on stage. It’s been a blast and I love doing it everyday! Id say its in my blood to entertain.

A little about where I came from: I’m not a native of the central coast. I’m originally from San Jose, CA where I lived for many years until moving out here to Salinas/Monterey. I’ve been here ever since and my family lives around here locally as well (Which is nice). I went to high school here locally so I guess to a sense, I did grow up here. I do consider this area to be my home. To anyone who lives here, you know what I mean when I say that there’s just something special about living in this area.

For those who have known me forever, they already know this...but for those who dont...I’m a master computer repair tech by trade and am usually fixing broken stuff all day long and setting up computers for people. It’s just something I’m good at and I love doing that every day too! It's a great experience to broadcast every day from 3 to 7 pm on KTOM, mainly because its me NOT having to work on a computer and I get to interact with all of you out there!
